During the age of the Silver Millennium, Queen Serenity ruled over the Moon Kingdom alongside her daughter Princess Serenity. There existed the guardians of the Moon Kingdom, the Sailor Princesses. Each had their own castle in which they were able to call upon for power when they needed it. Queen Serenity had a secret love, King Sol, the king of the Sun. King Sol had a daughter, Princess Yuuna, which became fast friends with Princess Serenity. Unknown to them that Queen Metaria was corrupting the Sun and King Sol. Princess Yuuna, somehow remained unaffected. Princess Serenity had fallen in love with Prince Endymion, and Queen Beryl was crushed, thus killing him. Princess Serenity committed suicide soon after. Sailor Venus killed Beryl with the Holy Moon Sword and Queen Serenity sealed Metaria and Sol away while in her weakened state, and sent the kingdom to be reincarnated on Earth.
Several years after the Ultimate Power had been dismantled, the Charmed One's sought to seek a normal life, of course in their line normal was vastly overrated. Their family's grew, each Charmed one had three children who had to be taught to use their powers. Eventually the children grew up learning to use their magic for the ways of the light, all of them attended Magic School. Large amounts of Youma soon appeared everywhere, making it difficult for the Senshi to destroy them. The Charmed Ones were having an equally hard time. The new Source of Evil decided to team up with Queen Beryl and unleash the world into darkness. A youma kidnapped an innocent from San Francisco and brought the innocent to Japan, the Charmed One's chasing after it. It is there that the Senshi ran into the Charmed Ones, who decided that they all needed to work together to defeat the threat if they were to save the Earth from destruction.
