Thay laughed slightly and shook her head in disbelief. She was hoping for a bit of an answer, but hadn’t expected to get that sort of answer. He didn’t seem to be the riddle sort of person. She smiled as she looked back up at Ari’s face.
”I wasn’t going to complain. But… You are aware you have just caused more questions to arise?”
She tilted her head to the side, smiling mockingly at Ari. There was no way he could give riddles as answers to everything she could possibly ask. Even though she was pretty sure she wouldn’t delve into personal details, by asking most of the questions that now haunted her. She wasn’t one to be so rude on first meeting. Second meeting however, and all evasiveness was gone. She gave a slight smirk, remembering her last encounter with a young male, and how that had ended after their second meeting.

Next time, try specifying your question better. It's harder to make riddles with precise questions.
She replied, laughing softly along with her new found friend. Or, that was what Ari considered her to be. Maybe she was jumping ahead to far and they weren't actually friends yet, but it seemed a safe assumption to think that they were. She had never been good with the whole "only acquaintances" thing when she wasn't working. And she certainly wasn't working now.
Her laugh fell away as she held a finger to her lips, listening for a second while reaching out to sense a few on a training mission coming their way. She motioned for Thay to follow quietly, and began moving into the brush a bit more, where they could hide with minimal illusion work.
Just mindspeak, for now, while the training party passes. Can't have you getting caught over the border, or me not bringing you in for it.

Thay gave a slight giggle as she nodded, agreeing to what Ari had stated. She knew she had been rather vague, a bit too vague. She always did that, and she wasn’t sure why she hadn’t learnt to be more specific in her questions. However she found that people were more likely to give answers if she was vague.
”I suppose you are right. I am never very good at the whole specifying matter. Maybe I should learn very soon. It could be useful.”
Thay gave another small sigh, as she looked around her again, happy that she had made another friend. It had been hard to make friends before, never finding it easy to relate to others, and she was quite surprised to be standing here, and to have become friends with this person.
As Ari signalled for her to be quiet, and then follow, she did obediently, crouching down to hide herself more easily, knowing it was the best place to be right now. She looked up to Ari, smiling slightly.
Thanks. That would probably be best. Wait, shouldn’t you show yourself, so they know where you are, in case they were looking for you. I wouldn’t want you getting in trouble.

If they need me, wait until you can't hear us, count out at least a minute, and then head straight for the border.
She replied, sneaking around to come from in front of the group and then standing up, brushing herself off, and walking out. She made sure to be ready to draw her sword, so she looked like she wasn't sure who was coming. She dropped the pretence when she came in sight of them.
-Mind playing the group? or, like, some random 'representative' from it?-

Thay gave a small nod as if to agree, even though she wasn’t sure Ari had seen her. And as soon as Ari was away from her, she realised what he had said. She looked about her bewildered and wondered what way she had come. She panicked as she couldn’t remember. Some great idea Ari had, maybe he had forgotten as well.
She watched as she saw Ari draw her sword, pretending to not be aware of whom they were. She sat tight, and watched. She saw a small group of people approach, but from where she was, it wasn’t obvious to her of how many were there. She was aware that there were no more then five. That she could tell. They had stopped about ten feet in front of Ari, and Thay could see that they weren’t relaxed. From her distance, she wasn’t sure if they were talking quietly, like she knew a lot of people did. She held her breath as she waited for what Ari would do next.
[OOC – Sorry for such a long wait, and such a short reply. I have been finding everything really hard to balance in life at the moment, with hospital visits, exams, and general lack of enthusiasm of life. But I am going to try my best to be as regular as possible, and I have a weeks break next week. ^^]

The more senior you were, the more people who knew you. Whether you liked it or not.
Sorry, Keto, sir. Was just out for some private training, out of sight. Didn't mean to get in the way. Did you need me, sir?
He grunted, grumbling over 'flippy, young kids' who 'hardly showed any respect' and waved her off and out of the way. She quickly stepped aside, smile simply twitching at the edge of her mouth. She kept it to that.
You'll be wanted back within two hours, Ari. Commander wants to see you, lord only knows why. And next time, practice in the courtyard unless told otherwise.
He informed her over his shoulder as the group brushed past, clearly only passing along hte message on their way to do something else. She waited until he was almsot out of earshot before replying.
I was told to do so, sir.
He spun around to glare at her, but she was already walking the other way, past her Sitian friend just to keep the appearance up. She was grinning broadly, quite clearly amused.

Thay really had no idea what to do. She watched as Ari turned his back on the group, and started to walk the other way. She remembered him saying that she should try and get out of here, but come to think of it, Thay realised that Ari had not told her which way she should be heading in, not knowing which way she had come from anyway.
Thay gave a small sigh, quiet enough not to give her away. She hoped. She slowly moved herself back, resting on her haunches, wondering what to do next. Knowing her, she would only get herself into trouble if she moved, but then again, she was like a sitting duck here, and this worried her.
In her head she started humming a lullaby she was so used to, and felt her body relaxing, her mind finally starting to see some sense. She remembered she had wanted to head north for some reason, so theoretically she should head south to get back. She smiled as she realised this was a good idea. The smile soon faded as it dawned upon her that being under the cover of the trees meant that she had no way of telling which direction she was supposedly heading in. Breaking cover was very risky, so she decided to stay put, and hope that Ari would come back. As she leant against a trunk, she let the lullaby fill her mind again.
Not what I particularly want, as I can't think straight being ill, but I didn't want to leave you waiting any longer. ^^
